i want to be a cat like him

Illustration Friday: Cat
i found out that i had little experience in drawing a cat. well, here's my second attempt at it. the first was too ugly even to my standard. i may end up posting another or two. will appreciate any feedback.

As usual, excellent illustration. Even the mask cannot hide that envious expression. You capture the mood of some of my favorite illustrators - a bit of Aubrey Beardsley this week.

Love your cat faces with their human bodies. I like that they are "ugly". I groaned in my mind when I saw this weeks topic posted. "Cats" evoked images of cute furry little kitties playing with balls of yarn (vomit!). This is such a refreshingly different take.

I love the soft baby-hair on the real one and the wee ear on the masked one, and their chubby little bellies and worriesome looks. Brilliantly bizarre.
