the very attractive magical rodent

they are found in most cities. but unlike their non-magical cousins, they live at the top of very tall buildings. they build nests below the eaves, and many people mistake them for bird nests. like some birds, they steal or gather shiny objects and decorate their nests. they do have magical powers but their magical powers are weak and mostly used for hiding themselves from predators and humans. sudden gust around tall buildings is usually magically created by them, and that means you are very close to one of them.

secret stories

a rubber horse, two inches tall, and a ceramic toilet, one and a quarter inches tall without the wooden pole, together for $3 at a East Village flee market. both crude and dirty, and attractive. pretty excited especially about the rubber horse. even thought it's very small, i think i can do a few interesting photographs using a macro lens.
