Drosera


Illustration Friday: Sticky

Drosera (Sundew)
A small carnivorous plant of boggy places, with rosettes of leaves that bear sticky grandualr hairs. These trap insects, which are then digested.

I like the plants, but the thing that really does it for me, is the wonderful sad expresion on the poor creatures face. Beautifully captured.

Wow, great job. It's sorta of disturbing to watch the poor guy being taken over by that plant, but I still love it!
