Baculum Formosa (Stick Mite)

Baculum Formosa (Stick Mite, AKA Corndog Mite) is yet another parasitic mite commonly found in humans, especially in southern and western Africa. The elongated reproductive organ protruding from the tail attaches to the birth place of the mite inside the host's body and grows up to 1 foot so that eggs are laid at the exactly same location. The reason for this behavior is yet unknown.
