Xenophobia

Xenophobia is a fear or contempt of foreigners or strangers. It comes from the Greek words ξένος (xenos), meaning "foreigner," "stranger," and φόβος (phobos), meaning "fear." The term is typically used to describe fear or dislike of foreigners or in general of people different from one's self. - Wikipedia
* i'm realizing that this is way too nice design for the content.

Sanitization

it's a poster for a movie by Brian De Palma, Redated. came across an article about the movie and the concept of media sanitization interested me and made me do this poster.
Sanitization
Sanitization is the process of removing sensitive information from a document or other medium, so that it may be distributed to a broader audience. When dealing with classified information, sanitization attempts to reduce the document's classification level, possibly yielding an unclassified document. Originally, the term sanitization was applied to printed documents; it has since been extended to apply to computer media and the problem of data remanence as well. - Wikipedia

propaganda

Propaganda is the deliberate, systematic attempt to shape perceptions, manipulate cognitions, and direct behavior to achieve a response that furthers the desired intent of the propagandist. - Garth S. Jowett and Victoria O'Donnell, Propaganda And Persuasion, 2006.
do you ever realize that you are being manipulated? what do you do when you do? do you ever choose to ignore and enjoy the excitement and pleasure of being a part of the progress and righteousness and the greater purpose? or do you stand out and ask to stop manipulating? or do you simply ignore and live in your small apartment? i think i live in the propaganda of my little comfy apartment in which everything is honest and simple and fine.
ps. i'm not making a commentary on any specific government or country. hm, or am i? now i'm confused. :->
